3 Copywriting Tips To Sell Out Your Services Every Single Time
If you’ve been brainwashed by all the internet marketers over the years and think all you need to do is get *that one funnel in place*, listen up:
No matter what funnel you work on, you still have to put the copy into every single step of said funnel.
If your funnel isn't working, it isn't Clickfunnels fault.
It's your copy.
If I were a betting woman, I'd say the reason you've gotten so sucked into believing you're only one funnel away from millions is that you're not making the kind of money you want.
You want results.
Results like:
Doubling Your Monthly Income.
10 x Your Bottom Line.
$25,000 In 2 Months.
$10,000 Cash Injection.
$40,000 Monthly Sales.
150 Monthly Members + Counting.
20 New Clinic Clients A Week.
Your Articles Featured In Prominent Online Magazines.
Double Your Website Traffic.
Let me tell you these results were achieved from doing NOTHING ELSE except writing words.
Ashleigh, Hollie, Rachele, Katherine, Nicole, Hafsa + Kelly did it.
And you're next.
Today I'm going to walk through 3 copywriting tips that’ll help you sell out your services, stat.
Hack #1: Speak your clients' language.
Let’s say you’re a spiritual coach
Here’s how you talk:
I will help you become your most spiritual self.
Here’s how your clients talk:
I just broke up with my boyfriend and I’m so sad all the time and I just want to be happy again.
Here’s how you need to talk so you’re speaking the same language:
What becomes of the broken heartened? The happiest person you know!
If you're speaking Greek and your clients speak English, then you're not speaking your clients’ language.
And when you don't speak your client's language one very sad thing happens:
Sale denied.
Your Turn:
What you’re saying:
What your clients are saying:
What you now need to say:
Hack #2: Emotional writing
People buy based off emotion. Then, they use logic to justify the purchase after their initial emotional yes.
Show, don’t tell.
Show your people their truth.
Here's an example:
Exhibit A:
I am a documentary style photographer who loves unconventional, messy real life shots, because that’s real life.
Exhibit B:
The kids spilt the milk again. The clean clothes are piled high on the couch. And still, the sweet sound of laughter fills the air. You lean back on the kitchen counter with your cold coffee, finally able to drink it after playing with the two. These are the moments you’re going to miss the most. But I won’t let you.
This is emotional writing.
We've picked the truth of the client - their morning routine - and we've described their story in a couple of sentences.
Your Turn:
Write a sentence about what you do. E.g. I am a _______. I do/help/create _______.
Now turn that into a short paragraph about their story in relation to what you do.
Hack #3: Making offers.
Offers are the lifeblood of your business.
DARE
I want you to imagine the celeb you’re crushing on sooooo bad right now. That guy….(Chris Hemsworth...Scratch that, LIAM HEMSWORTH)... I want you to imagine you’re walking down the street and you see him 5 metres in from of you. Filming his new movie. One of the crew comes up to you and says: we need extras. we need you and 5 of your mates to be in the scene with Mr. Hemsworth that's starting in 30 minutes.
You're going to faint with excitement.
So you get our your phone to text your 5 best friends.
What do you say? Write it out for me.
What you did just then, was sold something.
Yep.
Can you believe it?
And it wasn’t sleazy or gross.
Selling is one big party invitation.
Invite your peeps to your offerings the same way you invite your friends to be extras in a Liam Hemsworth movie.
Get the vibes right for your people to receive it right.
Your Turn:
Take that same excitement and invite 5 people to purchase your offering.
If you haven’t been making the income you want in your business you don’t need more business coaching.
It’s time to write the kind of copy that sends your audience into a buying frenzy.
And you don’t need a masters degree in writing. Or a single creative bone in your body.
Because writing for selling isn’t for tortured artists. Or wordsmiths. Or geniuses.
It’s a learnable skill.
And it's a skill you gotta learn if you're going to run a crazy successful business.
You gotta become the Copy Boss of your business.
